The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released schedule of the board examination for the academic session 2017 – 2018 and the examination will begin on March 5 and finish up on March 24, 2018. Reporting the exam dates on Friday at Ramnagar, UBSE said almost 2.8 lakh secondary school and moderate understudies over the state will show up in the examination to be held in 1,309 focuses on the state.
Brijmohan Singh Rawat, joint secretary, UBSE, stated, “The point by point 2018 examination plan has been discharged for both secondary school and middle of the road in Ramnagar board office by board secretary Neeta Tiwari. The exams will be held in 1,309 focuses on the state between March 5 and March 24. This time, the examination calendar will be imprinted on the back of the concede cards.”
It is found out that functional examinations are probably going to be held in February. For class XII, the exams will begin on March 5 with Hindi as the principal paper, while for class X students, the main board paper Hindi will be on March 6. The last paper for both the classes will be on March 24, with Sociology for class XII and Sanskrit for class X.
Students must be available at the examination focuses on 9.30 am. Between 9.45 am and 10 am, the students will be given 15 minutes to peruse the inquiry paper.
The passing rate for class X students of Uttarakhand board for the academic session 2016 – 2017 was 73.67 %, while that for the class XII was 78.89%.
